Joy Gardner Campaign handbill, 1993

Jamaican born Joy Gardner was 40 when she died after police gagged her when they arrived at her flat to deport her. Her son, who was five years old at the time, watched her die. In 1995 three policemen were found not guilty of her manslaughter.
